Xinran Yuan is an independent curator and producer working at the intersection of art and emerging technology. She produced and co-curated the 2024 edition of 7x7 with Michael Connor.
Previously, she was Curator & Producer at Meta Open Arts, where she led major commissions by artists including Timur Si-Qin, Sofia Crespo, Baseera Khan, and David Linchen. As the founding Head of Global Partnerships at HTC VIVE Arts, she helped to realize the first VR artworks by artists including Dominique Gonzalez Foerster, Albert Oehlen, and Cai Guo-Qiang, as well as the first large-scale in-museum VR exhibitions at the Louvre, V&A, American Museum of Natural History, and the Venice Biennale’s Arsenale.
