Curt Cloninger

a simple question,
Curt…., where do you get your funding?

Oh Dear!
The idea that someone whose rhetorical heights reach
cheap innuendo of a McCarthyite bent should be taken
seriously for even an instant as a critic of Curt
Cloninger , who has contributed so much and so clearly
to this list, would be laughable if it wasn't that in
these fevered times that mud can stick.

On the few occasions that Curt has ventured a
political opinion it hasn't been mine.
On art he is matchless, even when one disagrees with
him.
What stands out about him is both his fearlessness and
his honesty.
The idea firstly that Bush et al require a provocateur
on the list is bizarre paranoia but the idea that they
would recruit the one person who is completely open
about his differences with what I think he would call
the "liberal consensus" is totally risible.
Please do crawl back into your hole, Mr Dymond, & stay
there - to date your posts have been both deeply
sleazy & ( in the old Yorkshire phraseology) *neither
use nor ornament*.

you know, there is a place for serious discussion, and then there are listservs.
They can be lively, and hopefully outrageous.
This has become far to pedantic.
Lighten up, and act like madness was ok here.

(Curts a fine person, I'm sure, and quite capable of resonding with an appropriate response.)

It is sad that casual conversation has become the standard on the list.

Oh, please.

Dissing a listmember and then crying foul when someone calls you out on it is not a flamewar. If this isn't a serious place, why are you taking the objections to your posting so seriously?

Lighten up and stop being so pedantic about this. Your original posting wasn't funny. I've been there on more than one occasion myself. You'll live.

I've seen your sites, I doubt that you have been anywhere of interest to anyone.
What I said…, I meant…, use your mind, not your politik.
