Ale Guzzetti is one of the first artists in Italy to begin research into interactive art.Since 1983 he has been working on the shape and electronic circuits of sound-emitting sculptures.The sound sculptures have been shown in Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Finland, UK, Albania, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Canada, USA and Austria (Linz), where they were among the prize-distinguished (honorary mention) in the Interaktive Kunst section of the Prix Ars Electronica in 1991. In Italy they were among the prize-winners in the Digital Art section of the Prix Museum of Modern Art - Gallarate in 1997; in Aperto Vetro in the Venice Biennale of Art at the Palazzo Fortuny, in 1998 and in Welcome tech & touch in the International Prix of art Ermanno Casoli Serra S. Quirico in 2006.He was among the 100 artists invited by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London to represent The Museum in the New Millennium in 1999. He also did exibitions with Nam June Paik in Milan in 2000 and in Vicenza in 2003. He started as Phd resercher in M-node Programme inside the Planetary Collegium directed by Roy Ascott and finished in CERCO, Center for research on the anthropology and epistemology of complexity, University of Bergamo, Italy. At the moment he also is Professor in New technology for the art at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan
