Open call for video work of performance art or performance with video.

MMX is currently in the process of putting together the Screening program for Show VI that will open the end of August 2010. Show VI will have an emphasis on performance, with sculptures that are time based and musically perform, public interventions, an ever changing film set and rotating exhibitions of six degrees of curatorial separation.

MMX opens a new exhibition every six weeks always with a new screening program. Our screening room holds up to 100 people, is powered with a HD ready projector, Mac mini, and Mackie speaker sound system. The program plays throughout the duration of the exhibition on a loop as opposed to a one-time screening. What we have in mind is a selection of extraordinary video/films to screen- short and sweet.

At this time we are only interested in seeing short video work with Performative elements. Videos should be in the time range of 30 seconds to 10 minutes in length.
