WANTED: Administrative Associate for Outpost Artists Resources.
Operating in the vibrant emerging arts neighborhood
Bushwick/Ridgewood straddling the Brooklyn/Queens border, Outpost Artists Resources is a small nonprofit artists residency program and event space with a twenty-year history in the media arts community in NYC.  We run a single video post-production studio and an event space.  We offer artists’ residencies that make use of our video post-production studio, as well as a variety of art events for the general public.
We are now seeking candidates for the position of Administrative Associate.  Qualified candidates should demonstrate an interest in the contemporary art and experimental music world, and dedication to being a part of a small grassroots organization.  The job would require involvement in all aspects of the organization.  Most importantly, fund-raising and grant writing, as well as development, and the day-to-day office work.
Job requirements: excellent writing skills and familiarity with grant writing, budgeting and knowledge of Quickbooks, basic knowledge of
Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of video hardware for maintaining our video post-production studio, knowledge of video projectors and PA systems a big plus for screenings and music events, love of contemporary art especially video/media.
Additionally, candidates must have good office skills and be able to
manage scheduling, email, publicity, social media and website with the help of our intern. This is a great job for someone who's a true self-starter and is as comfortable with hands on patching and running wires as they are with working at a desk.  This for is a great opportunity to develop programming and have a curatorial voice in the events
and residency programs.  This position is perfect for a recent graduate.
Hours: 3 days (Mon.-Wed.) per week and as needed evenings/weekends for events+screenings.
