The ACA presents a retrospective of the work of Peter Horvath. The exhibition features four of Horvath’s cinematic and net artworks, and seeks to explore alternative strategies for experiencing art cinema.

Subtle and meditative in tone, Horvath’s work largely considers ambiances of city spaces which frequently combine conditions of anonymity and desire. Much like the derive, we drift or pass through discrete emotive atmospheres.

He has exhibited his work in venues including the Whitney Museum Of American Art‘s Artport, the 18th Stuttgarter Filmwinter, FILE Electronic Language International Festival, Video Zone International Video Art Biennial, the Musee national des beaux-arts du Quebec.

The exhibition will premiere, Boulevard, a 3 channel DVD installation.
