LiveBox October Announcements

LiveBox has a busy October. For Chicago Artists Month, LiveBox is presenting Unfolding Spaces by Julieta Aguilera, plus LiveBox is curating video for the Open House Project. The Open House Project is an exhibition conceived and curated by Jodie Jacobi. Both projects are described below.

Unfolding Spaces is a virtual reality environment that explores higher dimensional navigation on a grid structure linked to gesture. The experience cycles through color, like the times of the day, atmospheric conditions, seasons or eras, seeking to internalize the sublime in the evolving forms and sounds perceived. This exhibition would not be possible without Kais Kay Art Projects Gallery who donated space for the show.

Gather at the Jacobi home on October 14 to view installation, sculpture, photography, painting, and video. This show is an outpost between “gallery districts” and “block parties”; a celebration of artists and the community.
