Scott Snibbe’s Studio (http://snibbe.com) is seeking a software engineer with iPad and Mac development experience for a full-time employment. We are looking for an independent engineer who is an expert with interactive computer graphics on iOS and Mac, and who has the ability and interest in creating beautiful interactive projects. You will create category-defying, highly interactive iPad and Mac applications ranging from interactive art to interactive music, games, and entertainment, that incorporate 2D and 3D computer graphics, interactive music, and augmented reality. 
You will have an opportunity to make a contribution to best-selling iOS and Mac apps, to develop new apps, and to work with well-known collaborators in the arts, music, and entertainment. This is a wonderful opportunity for a terrific engineer with interests in the arts, gaming or music who wants a uniquely satisfying job.

Key skills required:
iOS programming for iPad and iPhone: Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Cocos2D, OpenGL
Mac programming with Cocoa
2D and 3D Computer graphics programming in OpenGL and OpenGL ES
Interactive videogame programming
Software engineering using Apple frameworks and interfaces, and standard source control (STL, Github, CVN)
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Skills and interest in the following areas are also useful:
Masters’ degree or equivalent in Computer Science (Graphics or Interface)
Music programming – FMOD, CoreAudio
Augmented reality using accelerometer and GPS
Animation, art, or music background
Responsibilities

Design and program an interactive iOS and Mac apps with oversight and collaboration from Scott Snibbe. 
Generalize program modules for use in other projects.
Document your work with comments, source control logs, wiki entries.
Debugging and testing of your work.
Work closely with Scott and creative staff to translate designs and concepts into software systems.
Communicate with Scott and other staff regularly and effectively.

Scott Snibbe has been creating interactive art for twenty years. His work is collected in the Museum of Modern Art New York and the Whitney Museum of American Art, and has appeared in hundreds of shows worldwide.
