Join a young and progressive Design School, exploring the junction between Digital Media, Industrial Design, Interaction Design and Culture+Context.

The role focuses on delivering high quality teaching thereby ensuring academic and professional quality in the Digital Media Programme. Applicants should be both experienced and knowledgeable with cutting edge design research and practice. Areas of expertise should include a creative approach to the following: video production and post-production, generative and experimental video, motion graphics, 3D animation, telematics, augmented reality, virtual environments, and interaction design.

The candidate should also have sufficient breadth of experience in the discipline to build on a wide range of design issues such as theory and criticism relating to current concepts in digital media design practice, business concepts as related to the media industry, human issues relating to usability and interaction, cultural and technological considerations, as well as visual and aesthetic issues.

Candidates with recognised high quality professional expertise in Digital Media Design and who hold a Masters or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Digital Media Design, who have recognised research achievements and/or creative outputs, will be given preference for the position.
