Call for Art Papers SIGGRAPH 2023 is now open

SIGGRAPH is the largest conference on computer graphics and interaction techniques in the world, and it will celebrate its 50th edition in Los Angeles next year. Attracting more than 18,000 visitors, the event offers a variety of tracks, with the Art Papers being one of the highlights.

For this special edition, we are emphasising the role of culture in innovation, to move beyond a tech-driven world. Art and design contributions are essential to open meaningful perspectives for emerging technologies, to imagine how they can help to address society’s major questions, and to raise public awareness through critical approaches.

Design is now explicitly included in the call as one of the bridges between art and innovation. It’s essential that we can convey this to the public by presenting inspiring and impactful art and design papers next summer.
