Call for Film Submissions: Ojo de Agua

Aguas Migrantes invites artists to submit film & video work for our inaugural film festival, which will be showcased in the quiet & peaceful pueblo La Loma, Mexico.

We seek work created in the last two years. The theme for this year is HUMILITY/HUMILIDAD.


Please send your application to [email protected] by MONDAY MAY 5th, 2018, 11:59pm PST.

- There is no submission fee.
- Any genre is welcome.
- Send up to 3 shorts no longer than 20 minutes each via any free upload/download service (e.g. wetransfer.com, sendspace.com, dropbox, vimeo, youtube or via your personal website).
- Accepted formats are .avi, .mov, .mpeg, .mkv and .mp4.
- If the film is in another language other than Spanish, subtitles will be required after your acceptance.
- Artist Statement (200 words max).
- Creative writing (1-2 pages max): Describe how your work responds to the theme of HUMILITY.

WE WILL ANNOUNCE SELECTED ARTISTS BY 5/21/2018.
