Visual Studies - Assistant Professor

Responsibilities
Teach three courses per semester in a NASAD accredited undergraduate program with approximately 350 majors, participate in portfolio reviews and student advising, provide leadership and vision in program development, participate in university and departmental committee work, and maintain an active research and professional practice.

Required Qualifications
* MFA (or equivalent degree) with evidence of understanding and application of digital media in art and design.
* Experience in the use of and presentation of interactivity and time-based media in art contexts.
* Teaching experience required.
* Experience engaging in theory and practice relevant to Visual Studies.
* Evidence of successful experience in teaching studio classes and professional creative/research record.
* Successful candidates must be able to work and teach in digital media integrated with the other art and academic disciplines and in a manner relevant to a broader culture.

Salary Range
Commensurate with Experience
