Duchamp muckdog

It's a little known fact, but in 1942 Marcel Duchamp took up the position of equipment manager for the Batavia Muckdogs. http://www.muckdogs.com/index.asp?sId=35BE5645-6103-4F37-8CD9-414BB0B10987.
This odd relationship lasted less than 2 months.
During Duchamps tenure the Muckdogs wore sequined polo shirts with electronically enhanced logos.
The logos spun feverishly every time a hitter managed to make it to first base and beyond.
As well the Muckdogs would recite poems by Appolinaire overtime a run scored.
Duchamps tenure ended following an unfortunate incident experienced by the Mayor of Batavia, Marshall Downs.
Downs was staring at the dugout during a late inning rally on a fall day of that fateful year and fell into a hypnotic trance.
While in this trance the mayor ran onto the field and stripped himself of his clothing and began running in spirals across the infield.
The local police force recognizing the mayor let the antics continue for over three hours, making it the longest fan delayed playoff game on record in the history of baseball.
Duchamp left town the next day and never returned to Batavia.
Interestingly he never built another rotoscope and returned to traditional forms of creation
