Directed by Alberto Torija, Edgar Anzola, Roberto Lucca, Margot Benacerraf=

One of the major figures of early modernism in Latin America, Armando Rever=
on was an important painter of the first half of the 20th century in Vene=
zuela. The work of the artist was dedicated in its majority to the central =
coast of Venezuela, and focused on representing the luminosity of the tropi=
cs and the reproduction of strikingly expressive objects. This program has =
been developed in collaboration with the Proyecto Armando Reveron.

This screening is organized as a complement to the Armando Reveron retros=
pective exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, on view from Febr=
uary 11-April 16, 2007.


This event takes place at Americas Society and is free, open to the public =
and wheelchair accessible.
