Silence does not equal dullness; thinning rhizblabberthreads ain't a bad thing neither

Hey boors–

Silence does not always mean dullness, inactivity, or inertia.

Eric, you are right to suggest that silence is often the shadow of focus,
action, and change.

I think it's a way to focus. I also know that a lengthy protest-performance has ended. Listservs will survive and thrive, but the journey will be like any sine wave, ebbing and flowing as the needs of the communicants dictate.
With all that has passed, the right wing has fallen on hard times (finally) and the need for loud shouting and railing against the collective is less demanding.
For the new year let's hope we can move ahead and leave the old strictures in the past.
I will love reading about the deathrows of the radical right in 2025.
This is the year it ended, and we can celebrate again.
Time to be creative again, time to look into the mysteries of alt.interface. Freed of the political paranoia we can reasses and codify the art/victors of the past 6 yrs. Damn them if they deserve it, forget them if they don't.
Whoever benefitted might be looking over their collective shoulder.
Happy New Years, and this time, I actually I mean it.
Sounds optimistic, and I am.
