A small benefit of living in the NOT liberal state of Virginia is that I get the profound pleasure of voting against right wingers and neo-cons. I recently moved to another area of the state, so had to drive two hours just to vote. But I have never enjoyed the drive so much as today knowing that I would be able to vote against George Allen (aka 'Makakawitz') and against the marriage amendment referendum. Keep your collective fingers crossed, it gonna be a tight race but we have a chance. . .
