Videotage is Asia's non-profit media arts organization since 1986 with a key role in promoting, facilitating, incubating and educating media arts developments in Hong Kong. Videotage is a vital link between local and international media art community and works to bring media arts to the broader community. In 2008, Videotage is celebrating its twenty-third anniversary and is repositioning itself as a Media Art Centre. Our mission is to groom and promote media artists from Hong Kong through our prominent network, and to become a major hub for media art research in Asia.

To gear up for this next phase of development, we are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated team of staff.



JOB VACANCY - Program Director (full-time)

Responsibilities:

- Manages and initiates curatorial/research/on-site programs;
- Develops and build the organizational culture;
- Manages staff, assigns tasks, projects, and duties;
- Maintains relationships with sponsors and seeks further support (HKADC, grants, patrons);
- Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary;
- Promotes and raises the organizations' profile;
- Manages assets, budget, resources and membership;
- Reports and serves as a liaison with the Board of Directors;

Requirements:

- Degree in arts related field
- Experience in art management, curatorial or research in the culture and arts sector
- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English an asset;
- Good communication skills;
- Self-motivated and hard-working;
- Ability to work independently;
- Immediately available



JOB VACANCY - Project Coordinator (full-time)

Responsibilities:

- Coordinates program or project planning and implementation
- Participates in project budget planning and development
- Establishes project work plan and calendar
- Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary
- Supervises other project staff; assigns tasks; sets priorities;
- Assists with promotions and press relations;
- Analyzes information, providing documentation, and preparing reports on projects;
- Assists in promotions and press relations;
- Coordinates activities and exchanges information;
- Accepts and records payments, transactions and deposits; processes invoices and bills, review billing statements; performs basic account maintenance and transactions

Requirements:

- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English an asset;
- Good telephone manner and communication skills;
- Self-motivated and hard-working;
- Basic web and design knowledge an advantage;
- Ability to work independently;
- Immediately available



JOB VACANCY - Project Officer (part-time)

Responsibilities:

- Handles daily administrative tasks and other office logistics;
- Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary
- Monitors record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project
- Prepares records of project activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials
- Accepts and records payments, transactions and deposits; processes invoices and bills, review billing statements; performs basic account maintenance and transactions
- Assists in coordination of programs, projects and activities;

Requirements:

- Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English;
- Good telephone manner and communication skills;
- Self-motivated and hard-working;
- Ability to work independently;
- Immediately available
