No Human Performers
All Music Performed by Computer-controlled Acoustic Instruments
RoboRecital, a concert of mechanical music presented by composer J. Brendan
Adamson, will include no human performers. It will instead feature three
automated instruments: GuitarBot, a robotic self-playing guitar; an
automated 57 rank pipe organ; and a Yamaha Disklavier, a modern player
piano.
Six of Brendan's own pieces will be presented alongside works by Bach and
Mozart.
