For the record (so to speak - um, so to speak)…

Thank you for the input to my recent posting regarding sound recording with Mac OSX. After trying out a bunch of stuff, I went with Audacity software for recording (cheap - and does everything I need it to) and iMic hardware for audio input (makes pretty much any cheap old microphone sound a lot better).
