I was recently in DC this Spring to visit some friends who live in the Capitol Hill section. a 5 minute walk from the capitol building. I was impressed by two things. DC is a company town and it is also has a Southern small town quality to it. What that means is people are very social in a way that only happens down. The company town aspect is of course the governement. I'm quite impressed by Packer's US DAT work which I think looks at these two parts of American culture. Great work Randall!!!
