Kristen Baumlier's Antenna on Wigged

Wigged Productions (http://www.wigged.net) an organization dedicated
to making new and innovative art more accessible through broadcast
and Web-based presentations is pleased to showcase online Kristen
Baumlier's video, Antenna. A link to the video can be found on

Ohio-based artist, Kristen Baumlier uses both new and antiquated
technologies to create new meanings. Her piece, Antenna is a
three-minute video that explores issues regarding communication
devices in contemporary society. Baumlier states, "In my work, I
experiment with electricity and technology. I aim to present
questions about the hi-tech devices that are increasingly a part of
our daily lives."

Baumlier's work has been shown in San Francisco, Germany and the Iowa
State Fair. She currently teaches electronic art at the Cleveland
Institute of Art.

Antenna will be on view at Wigged through June 14, 2004.
