Upload-Download (UD) is an experimental online project presenting a collaboration between young people around the globe.Central to the project is the theme of global communication and cross-cultural encounters.
Essentially, the project explores the impact of globalisation, free market capitalism, consumerism, and information /communication technology on the young people , especially in regards to the notion of self, identity, nationality, spirituality and cross-cultural experiences.
The participants will engage in a series of collaborative online art activities related to the above-mentioned issues.
The artwork is produced with simple process of uploading of content from participating artist from one end which serves as a content for the participating artist at the other end to download and work on the particular content and vise versa. The process is continuous,ever growing and evolving.
