IALA gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the MTAA postcard art sh=
ow at Baton Rouge's IALA Gallery near the LSU campus. Until two weeks ago,=
only the 31 Grand installation was confirmed, but tonight both this instal=
lation and the Rome Art installations are up and functioning in the gallery=
, which is a first for the Baton Rouge area. Our turnout tonight for this =
opening was fabulous, and we thank everyone who came to make this opening a=
great success for the IALA Gallery.

About the show:

IALA gallery is proud to present conceptual artists Whid and River in prese=
ntating their postcard art exhibition. This is a variation of the install=
ation recently seen in New York's New York's 31 Grand and Rome Art gallerie=
s, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to install this work. Visitor=
s are invited to view and interact with the MTAA postcard art installation,=
which is unique in Baton Rouge's history. IALA gallery recently received =
this work, which will be given its site-specific installation in our space,=
and we are excited to be able to present this form of conceptual abstracti=
on to the Baton Rouge and Southern Louisiana public.

ABOUT MTAA
Whid and River (AKA MTAA) are leading edge conceptualists in the rising gen=
re of technological/new media art. Their most contemporary and historicall=
y-informed works expand the critical issues relating to the nature of art i=
n the technological age, and especially after the rise of the Internet. Th=
eir physical and virtual works are widely shown, and have been featured at =
numerous venues, including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Walke=
r Art Center.
