1. Insights into August Highland's work
i am a classicist - this was my education - all the languages including
hebrew and aramaic - i am jewish and studied with ultra-orthodox chassidic
rabbis in new york which introduced me to the extremely
consciousness-shifting teaching that when moses received the 5 books of the
old testament on mt sinai he transcribed them in code (shorthand) while the
full text was transmitted to him directly by the divine archetype which
moses was able to remember - so the old testament is code (the written
tradition) and the talmud is what was transmitted to moses directly and has
been passed down through the rabbinic lineages from generation to generation
(the oral tradition) - i also attended naropa (but not in the writing
department) - and there i was taught similar teachings and principles with
the additional introduction to empty space - i also was in jungian therapy
for 10 years with a jungian analyst who studied in switzerland and whose
teachers were students of jung - here i was introduced to the archetypes and
the decentralization of the ego/author - so these four influences (the
classics/languages, the mystical sephardic judaic tradition/compressed
encoded text, tibetan buddhism/mindfulness and empty space, and
jung/archetypal energetics and the multiplicity of the self) combined in me
in such a way as to lead me to originate a literary form that encapsulates
all these ideas of ontology and epistemology - i created hyper-literary
fiction and founded the worldwide literati mobilization network to exemplify
my world experience and fundamental belief system(s)
the meter i am now exploring is a new interest for me - it first surfaced by
accident in www.wired-paris-review.com in which the forward momentum and
divisiveness of the novel punctuation created rhythm
after wired paris review i explore looping (www.the-hyper-age.com) - then
repetition (www.club-bibliotech.com) - and now meter (this project will come
out after i assemble the spring issue of the muse apprentice guild)

august highland, orginator of hyper-literary fiction and founder of culture

EXPLANATION: august highland has created 80 different personas whose work
can be found in over 20 projects - the personas are august highland's
multiple voices - each persona produces his or her own style of
hyper-literary fiction - all the personas together make up a collective or a
literary movement called the "worldwide literati mobilization network"
(wlmn) - collectively the members of the wlmn have produced nearly 100,000
volumes of hyper-literary fiction - each volume ranges in length between
250-1,000 pages with the exception of club bibliotech the members of which
have produced shorter works (70-100 pages) - the work of august highland is
not yet for sale - it will be very soon - if you would like more insight

international online literary quarterly - the "muse apprentice guild"
(m.a.g.) has 16 international m.a.g. liaisons who help august to present
literary work from all over the world in both the original language and
english translation - the spring 2003 issue features nearly 600 writers with
special features presenting writers from iran and writers from iceland - the
mission of the muse apprentice guild is to bring the WORLD of letters to
readers
SUMMATION: the literary/cultural phenomena that august highland has created
through the monumental literary project of the worldwide literati
mobilization network and through the monumental literary publication of the
muse apprentice guild are unprecedented - the summation of august highland
