How appropriate that the catholic church should
allow Galileo to make a significant and meaningful
gesture to them even after his death! Did you know
that Galileo's excommunication from the Roman Catholic
Church was rebuked only in the past 50 years?

Hi Josh,

Yeah, Crap isn't it - I'm kind of getting fed up with limited minded
sadists, controlling the scheme of things. Also not too keen on religions
these days either, the mob mentality of one (un)unifying belief disturbs me
somewhat.

I saw a play a few years back - a version 'Brecht's' book/play called
Galileo (loved the book, read it a few times in fact, quite inspiring) the
play was by David Hare, but I did not feel that it captured the awesomeness
of an institutions weight; or affect on a person's or a family's life. The
book was successful in communicating the wonder of discovery, thus the
wonder of life.

much respect marc

Take a good look at yourself, baby.

Sadists cannot control anything. They're just as impotent as masochists,
and in fact it's the same tune in two different variations.

Nevermind that brain 'thinking' overload produces a certain
need to be 'dominated' in males, which is exploited_, and we mean
e x p l o i t e d_ by certain females whoa re indeed sadists
and which is what you're trying to be, babycheeks.

As if you ever knew what religion is, besides the programmatic
training you've received on the issue. Ora re you chatting up Josh?
Because Josh is a brain monkey you know. He'd perfect for a sensitive,
emotional.. something or other.. that is until ms. venus cracks
the sadistic whip.

> the mob mentality of one (un)unifying belief disturbs me

The "mob" mentality is what you're after, babycheeks.
Mob mentality is functioning exclusively from a certain
set of 'lower' impulses, such as infantile emotionality,
for example.

Humans build their own traps. Institutions didn't fall from the sky.
Unless of course you're religious?

> The book was successful in communicating the wonder of discovery, thus

The wonder of life is there, and nothing to do with 'discovery'.

As for Mr. Galileo, ah.. he was rather naive.

Nor is he making any 'significant' 'meaningful' gestures
to the 'catholic' church.., which doesn't exist any more.

But maybe if you had any 'awareness' youd know that 'today's'
Catholic church is not what Galileo faced, and that he's not making
any gestures at what happened then_, because he acted out his "play"
then.

Non-coincidentally, from all of the 'anti-religious' posturing
none of it is intelligent understanding of what one is dealing with.
Church burning was a popular affair since the beginning of time anyways.

So naturallich, even if it's not apparent to you, you're 'blind'
little soldies, thrown at something that you don't understand.
By who? or what?

Let's play a little movie:

The kamikaze of world war two, standing in front of their planes.
The planes had the landing wheels removed. The soldiers were told
that they were the_ elite_, fed cheap propaganda which had nothing
to do with reality, and given some cheap soda drink / sake substitute
before being shipped off to die.

Well, we are sure they complained about the lack of females too.
And the sadistic generals.
