Temporary Lecturer

TEMPORARY LECTURER
VISUAL ARTS DEPARTMENT, University of California, San Diego

We anticipate openings for temporary Lecturer positions in art history/criticism (Western and Non-Western, including, but not limited to, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque/Early Modern, Modern Latin American, and Meso-American), photo history, film history, studio art (painting, sculpture, drawing, and hybrid practices), *computing in the arts*, digital editing, film, video, photography, performance. Appointments will likely be part-time, possibly full-time, from one quarter up to one year, with the possibility of renewal. Positions available beginning the 2008/2009 academic year contingent upon funding. MFA or PhD preferred, but ABDs considered. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship and/or professional recognition. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on published UC pay scales.

This evidence may be in the form of slides, tapes, publications and/or public lectures and should be accompanied by return mailer and postage.
