Genius 2000 wants to help, Michael!

Dear Mr. Moore:

Genius 2000 is a major artistic and intellectual network requesting your
advice. We wish to mobilize younger voters in the coming election to
prevent the Bush Regime's control of the Senate and thereby all branches of
the US government.

I have seen your new film and found it very compelling. Another extremely
successful internet artist, Eryk Salvaggio of one38.org, agrees I think.

You may remember someone throwing little papers in the air during the
November 2000 rally for Nader at the Target Center in Minneapolis, my
hometown. That was me! My first time on C-Span. I also gave a copy of my
first documentary, "The Genius 2000 Video First Edition," to Candidate
LaDuke. Do you know if she passed it on to Ralph?

Although the internet art community is seriously fragmented and disoriented,
many of us from many nations are very concerned about Bush. However, the
vagaries of funding, careerism, and critical aspiration have us sort of
paralyzed. I like to think this paralysis is surmountable, and we can yet
muster a significant contribution against the frightening prospect of a
blank check for Bush.

Please feel free to contact me directly, or join the discussion on the
high-profile netart lists Thing.net and Rhizome.org. Your advice as to how
we can do our part effectively and expeditiously would be greatly
appreciated.

Yours in grief and hope,

Max Herman
