Lin Culbertson's Daughter of the Wind transforms the sounds of Hurricane Sandy live in her studio while Lorenzo Troiani's Fukishima's Howl relives the Tsunami that led to the Fukishima nuclear disaster. Following each of these pieces will be performances by D. Burke Mahoney - a local sound artist who transforms radio signals into ambient soundscapes and Anna Friz who will present a new work which reflects on time called What the cuckoo knows/collecting clocks and losing time.
