Learn the basics of film photography by building a pinhole camera! In one day, you will build a camera, take pictures, and develop them in the black and white darkroom.

Adam Donnelly received his BA in English with a concentration in journalism from the University of Delaware in 2004 and studied at the New England School of Photography from 2007 to 2009. He is currently pursuing his MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute and his work is rooted in pinhole photography and literature. His practice involves converting used hardcover books into pinhole cameras through which he explores connections between text and image. Adam has exhibited work at the Garner Center in Boston, MA, The Converse Gallery at the company’s head quarters in North Andover, MA, The Paul Sack and Diego Rivera galleries at SFAI, Pure Beauty on Haight Street in San Francisco, and at Rebound Books’ Higher Space Gallery in San Rafael, CA. In addition, Adam has also taught pinhole workshops at both the Kala Art Institute and SFAI.
