As part of the ongoing exhibition at apexart, The Walls That Divide Us, curated by Miguel Amado, artists Leor Grady and Carlos Motta have been invited to discuss their involvement in the show and how their individual pieces relate to one another and the subject of geographical and political barriers throughout the world.

Leor Grady is an Israeli, New York-based artist. His work has been presented in venues such as the Rush Arts Gallery, NYC; Aljira, A Center for Contemporary Art, Newark, NJ; Exit Art, New York; Dumbo Arts Center, New York; Center for Book Arts, New York; and the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, DC.

Carlos Motta is a Colombian, New York-based artist. His work has been presented in venues such as The Guggenheim Museum, New York; MoMA PS1, New York; Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia; Museo de Arte del Banco de la República, Bogotá; Serralves Museum, Porto; National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens; and the San Francisco Art Institute.
