"… I propose an alternative to the theory of mediation / remediation theoretical to support the empirical end of studying the way online platforms relate to memories share. Borrowing from McLuhan (1964) the notion of the medium that extends our senses, one may ask how the social Web platforms extend (the already mediated) memories? What memories get to be shared on different online spaces? "
