ZERO1 is seeking a Director of Development. Reporting to and in partnership with the Executive Director and senior staff, the Director of Development will spearhead efforts as ZERO1 continues to grow as a premier Silicon Valley arts organization. A new position in the organization, the Director will have the opportunity to design and implement the development function specific to corporate sponsorship and individual giving. Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as the ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute ZERO1’s annual fundraising plan
• Secure financial support and sponsorship from individuals, foundations and corporations
• Manage and oversee staff responsible for data entry and gift processing
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
• Create and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of sponsors and individual donors
• Lead and coordinate organization of special events
• Develop and track proposals and reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree required, MA is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in development or sales of corporate sponsorships
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills
• Willingness to contribute as needed and the ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
