Art and Technology at the Ohio State University is seeking excellent artist applicants to our MFA program. This highly competitive program offers graduate assistantships (with free tuition plus stipend and a private studio) for all three years for accepted students who maintain good academic standing.

We seek applicants who are focused on criticality and conceptualization as driving forces for their creative work; including work in non-technological media. The MFA program in Art and Technology encourages the development of a student’s unique vision, aesthetic, and use of technological tools of all type. We foster a community of creative practitioners who understand history and theory while also defining what is next at the intersection of the arts, technology and the sciences. Our faculty and graduate students work with electronics and kinetics, interactive installation, robotic sculpture, 3D modeling and rapid prototyping, experimental video and animation, holography and light, biological media, net.art, art games, performance, sound and traditional art media.
