Channels: The Australian Video Art Festival

Submissions are now open until the 1st of June 2013!

Channels festival is calling for single-channel video art works, 10min or less in duration, to be played in a curated screening at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. Channels is a new international biennial festival based in Melbourne that will showcase Australian and international video art across its many mutant forms, including commissioned installation works by Ms&Mr (SYD) and Benjamin Ducroz (MELB), live AV performances, panel discussions and workshops.

The Festival takes place over the weekend of 18th – 21st September 2013 (with an exhibition at Screen Space running 12th – 21st September) at venues including ACMI, Screen Space and Speakeasy Cinema. See the call for works and guidelines on our website for more information.
