We are seeking part-time instructors for a newly required course in our Foundation Program, Extended Media. This second semester course teaches freshmen traditional and alternative printmaking incorporating digital technologies for creative purposes. Emphasis is on an interdisciplinary approach to the creative process through sustained commitment to an expressive idea involving: research, image generation and evolution. Knowledge of digital media (input, imaging, output, time, web, video) and printmaking (silkscreen + other processes) is essential. A working knowledge of photography, artists' books, and graphic design/typography is also preferable.

Purchase College has professional programs in the performing and visual arts and degree programs in the liberal arts and sciences. Located 23 miles north of midtown Manhattan in Purchase, NY, the campus is accessible by car or public transportation.
