Call for Games as Protest Art

Seeking digital video games that have been created to function as Protest Art, or that have been deployed as Social Commentary and Criticism. Works accepted will be included in an academic paper surveying this space. Paper to be delivered at the Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver, Colorado, mid-October. Submissions will need to include a title of the work, a synopsis of the game-play, a narrative or back story, and screen-shots. It will be helpful if copies of the completed game are available online. Consideration will be given to conceptual works, that is to say, works still in the design and development stage.

email your submissions to Rafael Fajardo ([email protected]) with the words "Protest Pixels" in the header.
