Responsibilities include teaching and advising in graphic design at the undergraduate level, with opportunity for graduate teaching; creative work and research requirements consistent with tenure expectations; and service requirements such as committee work, facility supervision, and/or administration of the program. Candidate should have a strong interactive focus. Advanced skills in interactive design are required, including work in various types of interfaces (web, tablet, smartphone). Required expertise in computer programs for graphic and interactive design, and programming skills. MFA or equivalent required for start date of 2012/2013. Desire: Professional experience in the field, teaching experience, working knowledge of time-based/video softwares, and contribution to diversity.
