Graphic Design - Asst/Assoc Professor

THE UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS, in Philadelphia, is the only university in the nation dedicated to education and professional training in the design, visual, media and performing arts. Through its three colleges, it currently offers undergraduate/graduate degree programs in acting, communication, crafts, dance, design, fine arts, media arts, multimedia, music, musical theater, writing, and museum and arts education. Core and elective Liberal Arts courses comprise one-third of the undergraduate curriculum. Students pursuing degrees now number over 2300; over 4000 take non-degree courses.

College of Art and Design (CAD)

A comprehensive visual arts college offering a full range of undergraduate and graduate professionally oriented programs in fine arts, crafts, design, media arts, art education and museum studies. Enrollment 1200 undergraduates, 175 graduate students. 62 full-time faculty, 125 part-time faculty.

Graphic Design - Asst/Assoc Professor - Teach both introductory and advanced graphic design courses using new media in a nationally recognized BFA Program. Qualifications: MFA substantial professional experience in design, multimedia and user interface design, teaching experience preferred, evidence of scholarship, and interest in interdisciplinary projects a plus. Salary and rank commensurate with experience.
