Trampoline (UK) brings its program of urban screen moving image artwork to the Urban Screens Melbourneconference. I am one of the artists represented in the program, here is the complete text from Trampoline's announcement:

Hot on the trail of its autumn launch in the UK's East Midlands, Trampoline's programme of artists’ moving image work for the public big screen is now on tour in Melbourne, Australia.

Do Billboards Dream Of Electric Screens? exhibits videos from all over the world but features artists from Trampoline homesteads Nottingham and Berlin and the cities of Leicester and Derby too.

The new screening location, the Big Screen on Melbourne’s Federation Square, is one of the world’s new urban cityscapes built around a giant screen, lending itself to experimentation with this new medium. With the umbrella programme entitled Our Friends Are Electric, the Melbourne organisers follow the aim of creating a world wide network for artistic urban screens content. Melbourne will also be host to the 3rd Urban Screens Conference, curated by Mirjam Struppek, organised in partnership with Berlin’s Mediafacades 2008 event.

Do Billboard’s Dream of Electric Screens? endeavours to uncover the possibilities of this new digital infrastructure for artistic production and experiment with the aesthetics of a medium that can be more than just a scaled up public television.
