list who live in brighton, uk i'd appreciate it if they could get in
contact with me. that's where i am and i'm wondering whether might be
profitable for people round here with similar interests to get in contact.

Hi richard,

I think that this is a fine idea - a few people from Brighton have been
involved in Node.London and also visited the various Nodes/venues that
were part of the Season in March.

It seems to me that there are a few like minded people from Brighton who
are interested in similar media related proejcts but are not connected
yet - is there an online platform/forum where such seaside frequenters
can meet, or physical a venue even?

hey m.

there are some techy groups in brighton ('brightonnewmedia.org' for
example) but their focus is not on net.art but rather more aimed at
commercial design/development issues, professional networking etc.

then there are certain groups based in brighton ('blip brighton' and
'blast theory' for example) who are established players within new
technology arts but who tend - understandably - to work on their own
projects.

but as far as i know there is no established peergroup of [independent]
like-minded individuals who meet regularly on-or-offline anywhere, which
strikes me as odd for a place as [seemingly] progressive as brighton.

hence the follow-up i sent to your email. i must stress though that this
is only as far as i know and if anyone out there is aware of such a group
etc. in brighton please do let me know about it. otherwise perhaps this is
a good opportunity to get one started?

like i said: if there are any brightonians following this thread, please
do get in touch with me.
