if you prefer

if you prefer to ignore the external, without denying it.
but prefer to live with what you have accumulated, then my friend, you are ready for this age.
you have your limits.
this is a simple, short freedom.
you are shielded, but you can never object to the world and its madness.
thats ok.
most people i know behave badly when presented with freedom.
i'm not sure of long term freedoms.
they are so slippery.
innonence, your innate strength, is feared by those who have managed to gain power.
why?
moral decisions are based upon the ability to draw a significant consequence.
well, we can't have this here.
your innocence draws attention.
without past experience…, how can i sway you?
read de Lautremont, Jarry, Camus, make up your own mind.
you say that fails?
but it's so simple!
well how about this.
I was walking in the park with my cat.
I know cat walking is frowned upon, but thats why i do it.
out of the bushes a stranger jumped onto my path.
i smiled and tried to continue.
he yelled, motherfucker…, motherfucker…, give me your wallet!
I laughed at him.
"I left my wallet at home…, what can you do to help me find freedom?"
He looked sideways.., no gun…, no knife…,"
"I'll kill YOU!!!!!!!" he said.
I responded:
"no you won't.., I'm bigger than you, stronger than you, I have nothing to lose, and fuck man, who is Albert Camus?"
He lunged at me and I corked him in the head.
He dropped to the ground.
Easily again I thought, but a gasp from his body struck me to the bone.
while he lay there, unconscious and prepared to die, i still couldn't finish him off.
why not I thought?
he was ready to kill me for something as dumb as money?
i have no social conscience,i could have killed him too.
but i didn't?
what does this mean?

if i was an innocent, my actions would have been so different.
let me know
