Matthew Gardiner has created an aura of innovation around his practice simply by following his passion for origami, code, and interactive new media. Graduating in 1997 with a BFA Photography from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne Australia. Matthew worked and trained in new media under the mentorship of Peter Hennessey and Patricia Piccinini. Working on projects with clients such as Arts Victoria, Chunky Move, Lucy Guerin Company, ACMI, and the City of Melbourne, he developed a solid grounding in programming and strengthening his relationship and love for the arts. His recent works are a hybrid of origami and technology.
