I’m a graphic designer and illustrator from Barcelona, now living in New York.

I’m interested in the graphic world since I was a child, when I used to spend almost all my free time drawing. My father also draws very well and so my grandfather ( but my mother’s father), so I thing I got my primary skills from them. I studied graphic design in Elisava School, in Barcelona, and I’ve been working as a graphic designer since the last year of college. I’ve never studied illustration, but I have a big passion on design and illustration books, so I’ve learned a lot from them.

I think that seeing creative work is the most important thing to improve your skills, and not only graphic design work, but also other disciplines such as painting, fashion, animation, sculpting… even the work of an amateur artist of the end of the world is good material to get your graphic knowledge increase. I often try to imagine, for example, how a song that I’m hearing, can be represented in shapes and colors. I mean that you can get inspiration from everywhere, and when you get inspired by something outside of the graphic world, the result is often more surprising.
