Artist Statement
Based on the cloud patterns of Hurricane Sandy, the hanging kinetic sculpture consists of four levels of translucent planar forms that rotate based on wind (fans) or human interaction.
The circular projection contains abstracted Atlantic Ocean imagery, chosen with the intent of relinking the cyclical nature of the ocean/storm relationships.
