I am interested in the construct of an image, specifically how the digital image can be manipulated to contemporary notions of sight and seeing. Throughout history, the words nature and landscape have traveled through a semantic journey of meaning. I explore these perceptible changes in new media and digital technology through the unexpected filter of landscapes.

This discourse is very much evident in the light box series: The More I see the Less I Grasp. This series challenges the relationship between traditional documentation and contemporary notions of representation. Using green screen technology layered over reflective quality from the inside of each light box, I was able to insert a landscape image.
