Collage City is a branch of the “Streaming Actions project”. Streaming Actions is based on signals from security update systems in real time. Collage City uses HTML files that compile various sources of streaming, cctv and webcam. There are thousands of streamed video inputs on the internet. Images from public and private spaces are emitted continuously, many of these images are not stored or recorded by the user. The devices produce images, and these images produce specific views and perspectives of the city. The use of these devices is constantly increasing as access to them is becoming more in demand. Creating a specific type of image, the point of view and the placement of these cameras is not casual, it is functional. This function gives a unique viewing experience of the city. These cameras are creating new digitally urban spaces, sharing time and network access.
