A web-based version of a physical installation and artist's book on Edgar Allan Poe's last story 'Landor's Cottage'. The website returns Poe's original text to the public domain where it was found, along with 103 footnotes of Cardon's research into the story, and Poe's life and loves.
Full Description
Website built with html, CSS and Javascript. Scrollable windows show the original story and the footnotes side by side. Links allow the reader to scroll directly to a footnote from the text. Sound effects happen on hover over certain elements. A key to the color-coding of the text is given at the bottom of the page.
