'Colour Fields' (2010-2012) is a series of code-driven, continuous Flash animations using video, still image and AS3 code to manipulate the visual content - the constantly changing blends and movement mean the animations can play forever and may never have the same sequence of pixels twice.
The visual content is a combination of abstract and subtle figurative imagery taken from the Blackaeonium archive project, exploring recombinant content creation as a method of preservation for variable media.
This work also contains the soundtrack "fishtank musicbox".
