Lisa Cianci is an artist from Melbourne, Australia.

Lisa produces work in both analogue and digital format, with her current focus on Internet-based dynamic, interactive art.

Lisa has exhibited her art work both locally and internationally - in galleries and virtual spaces on the Internet. Lisa also lectures in Visual Art & Digital Media (Victoria University), she is a professional archivist and a database / web developer.

Lisa completed a PhD by research project in 2012 interactive media at RMIT University, School of Media & Communications. The research is examining artistic use of the archival continuum model as a framework for creative practice.

Lisa's PhD project outcomes include archival systems built to facilitate creative projects and archival documentation of diverse cultural heritage - "archives in the wild" are her main interest.

Lisa is also currently doing research on the "Keepers of Ghosts" project at Victoria University, Centre for Cultural Diversity and Wellbeing, examining amateur archiving and history documenting practices of ghost signs on old buildings using digital media.
