Two new features launch at WWW.ASCI.ORG

- ADRIANNE WORTZEL is the October Featured Artist on the ASCI homepage.

MUSELEANOR a ficticious character by Wortzel "travels through
time…dropping in on artists and advising them on aesthetics, technical
proclivities, historical context and philosophical significance. This
contemporary muse… is particularly encouraging to fresco artists
poised precariously on their scaffoldings and engaged in processes
requiring the focus and precision of alchemists and neuro-surgeons. She
muses the likes of Giotto, Piero, Masaccio, Rivera, Lichtenstein, taking
brushes from their pots and working alongside them."

Other aMusing facets of her site include:
museReport: The Arena Chapel, musEleanor and Imhotep, the museLodge on
the Moo, musEleanor's Recommendations, etc. (click on "featured artist" &
travel to her site).

****and step INTO THE FUTURE (index page….. click on FUTURE icon) with
the online documentation of Steven Soreff's "Agar". Trained as an
industrial designer, Soreff's interest in materials and technologies has
combined with a quirky writing style to produce over 40 issues over the
last 20 years. Through Agar, Soreff predicts the art of the future, by
creating ficticious artists and reviewing their work. "Agar" has been
lovingly re-interpreted by web designer, Noelle Oki (make sure to follow
the link to her homepage too!).
